Windblade is a Cityspeaker, with a rare talent for communicating with dormant Metrotitans. She believes in duty, truth, and doing things the right way, even when it's hard.

There is an earnest energy to Windblade and her convictions; life has not yet beat her down, sheltered as she was on Caminus. She is prone to sincerity and a nature which often possesses thoughtful undercurrents. She holds her convictions strongly and her loyalty is just as firm. She trusts easily and doesn't withhold her friendship from those that want it. Yet, she is trying to learn the reserve and distance necessary to be a good leader, wanting to lead by example.

Leadership, diplomacy and philosophy are her foremost interests. She enjoys practicing her swordplay. In her rare free moments, Windblade also enjoys dabbling with painting, and recently she's taken up calligraphy as a form of quiet-time meditation.

Windblade emerged from Caminus' hot spot marked with one distinct feature: she showed natural potential as a Cityspeaker. She was still young when she was thrust into the rigorous training for that role. Her daily life was a blur of combat training, diplomacy, law, and regular teachings in the Way of Flame and her role within it.

After her first successful contact with Caminus, Windblade was appointed a bodyguard to protect her and her important ability. This bodyguard, Chromia, was initially something foreign to her; sheltered, she had only minimal understanding of the threats a Cityspeaker might face in the course of their duties. Slowly, though, their relationship surpassed that of protector and protectee, until the point that they were omg bff.

It was soon after this that the leadership of Caminus decided that she, along with Chromia, engineering specialist Nautica and a small crew on a newly outfitted ship, were ready to be sent on a mission;: they were to investigate a call from Cybertron requesting the return of the colonies. It was the Lost Light that they found, however, and their mission had to evolve. Having sacrificed their ship to help finish necessary repairs, they joined the crew of the Lost Light to search out the Knights of Cybertron.
