From Transformers: Lost and Found

Played by: Pteropoda
Division: Support
Alt-Mode: Racing Car
Faction: Autobot

One of the best-known engineers among the Autobots, Wheeljack can be counted on to put together a gadet for pretty much any occasion; just beware the potential blast radius.

Wheeljack’s reputation as an engineer developed before the war ever began, and his competence had him working on a wide variety of projects in plenty of places across the planet. Wheeljack’s early work occasionally exposed him to some of the key members of what would become Optimus Prime’s Autobot faction. That early exposure, along with his distaste for the extreme tactics employed by the Decepticons, led Wheeljack to join the Autobot cause early on in the war.

Constantly curious, Wheeljack’s work and personal projects are often indistinguishable, though things like keeping track of time or tidying up are often waylaid in the process. When it comes to science, he’s a jack of all trades. From frame rebuilds to hacking the system to impromptu weapons engineering (and maybe the occasional explosion), if you can name it, Wheeljack has probably done something like it during his time as an Autobot scientist. Unlike many of his peers among the faction’s engineers, Wheeljack does not specialize in weapons, although he’s whipped up a few in a pinch. His broad skillset has served him and his faction well.

This was particularly useful for Optimus Prime’s team on Earth, and later the Autobot group led by Bumblebee. Once they returned to Cybertron and the war ended, however, Wheeljack’s innate curiosity and his willingness to tolerate both the neutrals and Decepticons aboard had him joining the Lost Light crew. Surely he’s come out of the labs since then, right…?
