Personality

Modest and long-suffering centrally defines Skydive. While being arguably one of the best fliers in the Autobots, he in no way holds his skill over others heads, nor is he ever compelled to put someone down for their lack of something. He can easily be described as matronly, displaying a tamed, noble air of manners and politeness that bolsters kind, protective, and patient nature. And while not one to joke easily, as he's caught up in a more serious mindset, he isn't one to come off as cold, trying to keep a warm, yet mature feel about him that will readily stand defiant to help someone.

As for preferences, he finds himself fond of reading, games of skill, teaching, enertea, practicing, and intellectual conversation. Things he's less fond of are insubordination, loud noises, intimidation tactics, and those vexing video games Air Raid tries to get him to play.

Outlier Ability

Aerial Mimicry: Skydive's outlier ability is unique in the fact that he can instantly memorize a pattern or movement after viewing it once before duplicating it perfectly. While not as exact, he can even follow a pattern closely and match it almost in sync in real time for the first time, making him hard to outrun in a dogfight. He is constantly running numbers and scenarios through his head during a fight, so he is uncannily prepared for most things and can improvise quickly when needed. The downside to this is he is only limited to what his altmode is capable of, so he wouldn't be able to hover or stop on a dime for example. And even though he can pull off fancy moves, he's still capable of being hit if his opponent is skilled enough.

History

Skydive's life before the war was for the most part uneventful and without issue. While intelligent enough for work among the upper class, his passion for flying and learning earned him a spot in the Aerial Corps. Still high enough to be granted privileges, it allowed him to pursue more recreational activities such as expanding his knowledge through archives, get in close with military officials, or take up leisurely sports such as fencing. But the glamour wouldn't last forever as he noted the heavy corruption of the government early on as well as the ruthlessness of the encroaching Decepticon menace. This made his decision easier when the time came to take up arms.

After siding with the Autobots he was soon placed among a small team of fliers dubbed the Aerialbots. As second in command, he took to his job with ease and flourished alongside his teammates during the war as one of the top aerial defenses. He would remain with his team until the end, even following them after the war was won. This helped his decision of joining the Lost Light, putting his accrued flight and strategy skills to work on the navigation crew.
