Little known is really known of Rung, to the point no one truly remembers the mech’s name. This fact becomes even sadder considering, at some point, he has played Therapist to nearly every Cybertronian that survived the war. In fact he seems to have been around longer than anyone else can remember, like some sort of historical constant. What is known of Rung consists of his seeming obsession with model ships, his confusing alt mode, his eyebrows, and his distaste for that Froid guy…


Rung is an extremely gentle spark, genuinely caring about the wellbeing of those around him (regardless of former alliances).


Rung has eons of experience as a therapist, skill in building model ships, and just plain dumb luck.


Rung is a fairly unknown bot, despite his impressive serial code of 100000000 and ability to have been at every major historical event. This also carves out his place among the oldest living Cybertronians. He has been around as far back as Ark-1, even being chosen to serve on the famed ship until he was called back under orders of the Senate. Years later, following the rise of the Functionist Council, Rung was given the title of 'Ornament' for his rather... unique alt mode, which even he is unsure of. Once Zeta Prime rose to power, Rung used his professional skills to inform patients looking into body augmentation and retrofitting.

    After war broke out Rung remained a part of the Autobot cause, providing psychiatric assistance to the soldiers. He also managed to prove his amazing ability to persevere as he survived the cataclysmic battle between Metroplex and Trypticon. Over time he has assisted famous mechs such as Orion Pax, Red Alert, and nearly every one of the wreckers.
    Once Cybertron was given life once again, Rung decided to join the crew of the Lost Light. Though he truly does wish to help people, he also had an alternate motive for joining the crew. Years ago, Rung's professional reputation had slowly been torn to shreds by his rivals. He felt as if he couldn't even publish his writings anymore, merely keeping his papers to himself. The Lost Light presented a new leaf for the Psychiatrist, a place where his past wouldn't ruin his future. His first experience as a member of the crew... Losing an arm to an ex-Decpticon fly by.
    He quickly forgave the mech in question and is determined to help all those aboard the ship.

Rebirth of Unicron4 May 2017The Lost Light follows the Shivan monolith all the way to earth, meeting up Elita One's ship along the way. As more monoliths arrive, the crew uses this chance to visit Earth once more despite the Earth Defense Command telling them not to. They decide to be discreet. Eventually, nine monoliths arrive and everyone aboard the LL watches them in bated breath as they open and unfold and become... the Unmaker, Unicron!

Colony: Velocitron30 May 2016On Velocitron, speed is what matters. Their mobile cities, the Velocites, traverse the surface to stay ahead of the searing heat of dawn. In the capital, Delta, the upcoming Inevitable 250 race is about to determine the new leader. The slow workers banished to the polar city of Mu are seething with rebellion. The older city of Transit, mysteriously slowing down, may require evacuation before it burns up.
