Division: Intelligence
Alt-Mode: Small Car
Faction: Neutral

A former autobot scout with a desire to see more of the universe she is a part of.

Gearshift is empathetic, kind, patient, loving, publicly and privately. She's prone to crying when feeling emotional and gets frustrated when she feels she's not being taken seriously.

Eager to learn and happy to hold a conversation with just about anyone, Gearshift is perhaps a little too trusting for her own good (case in point: trusts brainstorm to make a custom weapon for her).

Lives her life with sincerity to a fault.

All of that being said, she feels very strongly about the war and the part she played (at least until she left)

Her empathy and general kindness/aforementioned sincerity have definitely helped her out not only as wait staff at a bar in Kaon, but also during her time as an autobot scout and even moreso when she lived on Earth among humans.

Forged in Kaon, Gearshift was a waitress for a long time, making friends with most of the patrons (particularly the regulars) and just trying to scrape by. A low-ranking senator saw the potential in her to do good, and they and their conjunx took Gearshift in with every intention of getting her into politics (or at least some sort of ambassador position).

The war had other plans, and their final act of kindness to her was to make sure she was an autobot before things went sour.

When Gearshift was a scout, she figured out no side was better than the other when her scouting squadron was sent on what she would find out was a suicide run that none were meant to survive.

She did, and feeling like a statistic more than a member of an army that cared about her living or dying, made her way to Earth, where she fell in love with the culture. Having studied Architecture and Interplanetary Cultures while at the Academy, Gearshift decided she would live in a city and work at a Museum.

After awhile she returned to Cybertron, and seeking more adventure for herself, joined the lost light.

Nowadays she works hard to prove herself.

She has very strong feelings about the two factions, as mentioned above. She feels Megatron used the lives of her friends and patrons (back home in Kaon) as a stepping stool for his own selfish gains, but feels the autobots really only want to maintain a status quo, no matter what Optimus' ideals are.

 Start DateSummary
Rebirth of Unicron4 May 2017The Lost Light follows the Shivan monolith all the way to earth, meeting up Elita One's ship along the way. As more monoliths arrive, the crew uses this chance to visit Earth once more despite the Earth Defense Command telling them not to. They decide to be discreet. Eventually, nine monoliths arrive and everyone aboard the LL watches them in bated breath as they open and unfold and become... the Unmaker, Unicron!
Colony: Velocitron30 May 2016On Velocitron, speed is what matters. Their mobile cities, the Velocites, traverse the surface to stay ahead of the searing heat of dawn. In the capital, Delta, the upcoming Inevitable 250 race is about to determine the new leader. The slow workers banished to the polar city of Mu are seething with rebellion. The older city of Transit, mysteriously slowing down, may require evacuation before it burns up.
Functionist Station29 December 2016The Lost Light stops by a spacestation run completely by Cybertronians. Seemingly occupied by neutrals, its actually run by Neo-Functionists.
Losing Inhibition25 November 2016The personality ticks are back! No queen this time, they've just gotten loose on the ship. Hopefully the ship doesn't descend into chaos before these things are contained once more.
The Cosmic Carnival3 November 2016Every outwardly pleasant civilization must have a less pleasant side. Okay, so the carnival isn't exactly pleasant looking, but even that's nothing compared to what lies beneath it.

Loves Earth culture. Like on a scale of war time megatron to swerve she's at Swerve.

while she can keep a secret, she wears her heart on her sleeve, and can't always keep a poker face when it comes to her own emotions (remember: She tends to cry when she's feeling strongly about anything)
